Girl Skateboards, founded in 1993 by Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Megan Baltimore and Spike Jonze.
Girl has a heavy emphasis on style and each one of their company videos is still held up today as marking a moment of progression for skateboarding as a whole, plus having pioneering skate photographer and film-maker Spike Jonze who has been involved in the making of all of their videos to date and it is his cinematic approach that lends Girl’s video output its uniqueness.
